A few months ago I did a Pit Stop Work Shop at Sunny Dojo in Serra Mesa, San Diego. The Pit Stop is a position that I had not seen until I trained with PFL MMA Fighter and Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt Jena Bishop.
It’s a position that I love to surprise people with but don’t utilize as often as I should. What I love about the position is the level of control and submission options that it gives the guard player.
