Three Thoughts from This Week
Trial Guy Compliment
We had a guy sit in on my 5am class and afterwards I went over to him to see if I could answer any questions before he left. I answered the few he had and before he left he said something to the effect of, “So something I like about this gym is that I don’t see any cliques. I went to another gym and everyone sort of sat around in small groups. It just felt very cliquey. Here both the evening class and this one seem to be one close group.”
Such an awesome compliment for the gym as a whole.
Friday Classes
I recently worked out a schedule with Five Peaks Jiu-Jitsu where I’ll be teaching two Friday nights a month at 6:30, starting October 17th. If I’m being honest, I’m a little nervous teaching a Friday night, but I’m also excited to see what I can make out of it.
The class itself will go more in depth on what I cover during the previous Work Shop at Five Peaks.
These will take place on the first and third Friday of each month.
60th Episode of Tapped In
As of this Thursday, I have now released sixty episodes of Tapped In: A Jiu-Jitsu Podcast. I’m getting some great feedback and suggested, so I’m excited to see how getting to one hundred will go.
If you’re enjoying the podcast; please like, share, and review.
It would mean a lot.
